Shayne Last
Shayne Last has been involved in harness racing since the late 1980s as a breeder, owner, trainer and driver.
He trained and drove several winners at Moonee Valley including Cham Preneur, with whom he won ‘Drive of the Night’, Our Lendyl, Spirit Of Moyne and Nikki Brandon. Shayne drove more than 40 winners during his career.

Shayne gained a solid grounding in the sport working for leading trainers Bill O’Connell and Bob and Vin Knight. He later pursued business and family interests before returning to the sport on the breeding side in 2015.

He has always been a horse lover to the core and a keen student of bloodlines. Valiant Charger (left), a dual winner at Melton as a three-year-old, is the first winner from a S C Bloodstock-owned mare, Valiant Sue.

Chris Belden
Chris Belden, who lives in Beaufort, has been an ardent trotting fan since the Melbourne Showgrounds era, dating back to the 1980s.
An accountant with practices in Beaufort and North Melbourne, Chris finds breeding and racing pacers an enjoyable pastime.
